After the successful B2B meetings organization in Morocco in September 2022, it was decided to carry out another international marketing activity for Serbia on 4-6 April 2023, within the scope of the "Electrical Lighting Equipment Sector URGE Project" carried out under the coordination of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry and in cooperation with AGID. Serbia provides Turkish companies with a significant competitive advantage and stands out as a market with a high potential as of the Free Trade Agreement signed with Turkey in 2010.

48 Serbian companies participated to the B2B meetings organized at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on April 5, 2023 and a total of 162 meetings were held between the Turkish and Serbiah companies. The delegation met with Ambassador in Belgrade, Mr. Hami Aksoy and Belgrade Commercial Counselor Ms. Yasemin Yüce during their visit to the B2B meetings on site.

On April 6, the delegation visited retail companies LightStudio and Cormel and conducted a market analysis on site, examining details such as the preferred products in the lighting sector, the latest trends, and current prices in Serbia.
